more matchbox mania

I made this advent calendar about 3 yrs ago out of matchboxes, foam core and a bunch of scrapbooking stuff ....
I fill the "drawers" with candy and my kids take turns with opening one each day.

I don't really remember how I made it though ..... sorry :(

Hi Kimmie, What a cute idea and I know the kids love it. All I can say is you have waaaaaaaaay more patience that I do as when I want to make matchbook art, I can barely get one made without suffering frustration overload. Have a happy week, Mollye

This is beautiful - you are a matchbox artist from way back!!!!!!
Now I know what I will be doing with all the matchboxes I have now- it would make great storage for tiny things like beads, etc.
